First Annual Great Gibbon’s Duck Race!
September 9th, 2023 was the 25th annual Town Wide Garage Sale with the town of Gibbons and the First Annual Great Gibbon’s Duck Race hosted by Spruce View Manor! All month the community have had the opportunity to place bets on the Spruce View Manor Ducks to help raise funds for the recreation department at the lodge. The Gibbon’s Fire Department opened a fire hydrant near the lodge for all our ducks to race down the streets of Gibbons at the end of the day! Residents, Friends and Community Members all came out to watch as our ducks floated down the river, with the Sheep Duck winning! Thank you so much to everyone who supported this fundraiser as well as the Gibbon’s Fire Department for helping this event be such a success! We can’t wait to see the fun we’ll have next year!
