Rent Assistance
Rent Assistance programs help people live in their homes affordably.
The Government of Alberta has completed a review and redesign of its Rent Supplement Program. This redesign allows Homeland Housing (HLD) to offer a rental assistance benefit to support those needing affordable housing.
Homeland Housing administers the Rental Assistance Benefit and the Temporary Rental Assistance Benefit on behalf of the Government of Alberta in the following communities:
- Bon Accord
- Clyde
- Gibbons
- Legal
- Morinville
- Redwater
- St. Albert
- Sturgeon County
- Westlock
- Westlock County
These programs are governed by the Rent Supplement Regulation and the Social Housing Accommodation Regulation.
